I've just joined twittermoms, and read your article, 'Raising Brats or Bullies...' I am the author of a young adult novel, Grumble Bluff, and in it, I touch on the issue of bullying and how it effects the lives of the two 'tweens' who are my main characters. My hope is that through these books (I've completed a sequel and am working on the third), I can make a positive impression on our youth. In addition, I have an author friend in Australia who has just begun a blog, and he has a passion for advocating against bullying. I wondered it you would like to/mind making a blog entry regarding bullying. You can choose the slant-- approach it whatever way you'd like to. If this interests you, please let me know and I'll set you set up so you can make a comment.

You're breakin' my heart, though -- I'd love to meet your best friend and welcome her to Denver (and I surely will), but we're actually in the midst of listing our house and moving to Minnesota! Aargh. My husband's dad is very ill, so we are moving to be close to family.

I'm happy to DM you my info so your friend can give me a call... we probably won't be going until late summer. Does she have any idea where she'll be living? Colorado living is pretty darn sweet... we are truly going to miss it!

Of she wants something, and I tell her I don't have enough with me right now, or we need to wait for that until a birthday, she frowns and asks me, "Why can't you just use that plastic piece of paper?"
