At 11:35am on January 26, 2009, Jennifer said…: Hallock is WAAYYYYY up in the most north western part of MN. Another 15 miles & we'd need passports or visa's. The nearest metro area is Grand Forks (70+ miles away). We moved here from TN for hubby's job so it's a definite change but, I do like seeing all the seasons. In TN you have HOT HUMID Summer or Warm HUMID Spring. There's not much winter or fall! The community is nice with low crime rates, great a education system and the people are very welcoming! I lived in a metro area in TN where crime was high, education was so so, & the people were indifferent. I don't think we'll be leaving anytime soon (except for maybe a short break from all the snow-lol).
