Hi, Glenda!
Thanks for stopping by my page and becoming my friend. I'd love to hear more about you ... for example, I see that you're interested in working from home/business ownership. Do you currently own a business or are you looking for something in particular?

Well, in either case, I'm certain that you'll find what you're looking for, and if I can be of any assistance whatsoever, please feel free to contact me.

Looking forward to the networking ...

Hi My week is busy - i am finishing off a free report for parents who sign up to my monthly support network (coming mid March). I started my business because so many parents kept asking me about the best way to help their kids learn and succeed in school. I have a wealth of information (I should have after 35 years in the classroom and seven more in University!). So, I am hoping to share so that kids get the learning opportunities they need to succeed. I am brand new to blogging/tweeting/social media - but enjoying it all so far.
Mmm...a one-year old... talk, talk, talk so that s/he develops language. Most of the kids with learning difficulties that I work with have language problems, so make sure that your child gets the language experience s/he needs now!

Let me know if I can help.

Week is going okay, how about you? Today is fine other than sleeping in later than I should have. Still have time to get child to preschool though.

Hi Glenda, Lovely to receive your comment! I see travel as exploring ... you can travel outside of you back door if you look hard enough :-) I hope you will stop by my posts every Friday ... I like/hope to inspire people to travel more or escape for 10 minutes at the very least :-)

There is a genetic component to ADHD. If a child has a sibling with ADHD, the chances for the child to have ADHD increases. As you may also know, ADHD likes a partner- 90% of people with ADHD also have a co-morbid condition- everything from depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, to dyslexia and other learning disorders, etc.The good news is you know what to look for- if you recognize signs, get the help and support you and your child need. The earlier you can intervene, the better the outcomes. I wish you the very best with your son and peace in this coming year.
