We are importing the henna (and a few other natural powders/products) from India.
It's not that readily available these days and has had a bad rep because of some badly made compound hennas. (Ours is 100% natural - no additives) We are hoping to introduce the UK market to some fab natural indian products.
Thank you Gill,
Yes, Henna is almost impossible to wash out - it needs to grow out really. Though it does tend to settle down a lot and becomes close to your natural colour - if you are brunette. However seeing that you are blonde it would probably be quite shocking!
We are looking at stocking amla which softens and conditions the hair without making it red.
I'm really enjoying researching natural beauty products at the moment. Am really surprised just how little is actually 100% natural - and what is natural is difficult to get hold of.
Hey. Hope you are enjoying your time at Twittermoms. If you haven't already joined the Mommy Bloggers Group, stop by and check us out. :)
See you around Twitter. :)
I live in the US in NY. As far as I know there are no issues with Reddit. Really easy to submit a link, just url and click submit. No description or captchas. Because just title, if you have an appealing title can get tons of traffic. Much of the traffic though doesn't stay long.
Dear Gill
Thank you for your kind words. I would so appreciate you passing on my web site address to anyone that you can. www.throughmariseyes.com
BEADS~ARE ADDICTING.....................................and...............fun!
OK Gil, loved your blog. I bookmarked it. I'm in the process of "revving up" my metabolism due to menopause. The things you talk about apply to that as well. I've noticed a similarity between what's happening to my body now and post-partum. I'll enjoy reading tips from you! On another note, my family and I lived in Glasgow for several years - we loved the UK. Although, Britain is completely different than Scotland, I know.
Hi Gil, Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm just beginning to build content. Glad to have someone a "little ahead of me" in the kid department. Experience breeds wisdom in parenting!
