So glad you joined Red Hat Moms! We're a new group...and I'm new at TwitterMoms and trying to figure out simple things like how to start a discussion. I've found that looking in Help doesn't always give me an answer!

I live in Salem, Oregon, have three grown daughters and one grandson. I'm a quilter and am involved in lots of quilting activities (Guild, classes, clubs, etc.), volunteer at a Women's Crisis center, the Historic Elsinore Theatre and Salem Repertory Theater. I am always dieting. We moved here 3 1/2 years ago and I've gained a ton (well, not REALLY a TON, but lots!) and seem to have trouble being motivated to stick to a diet. Maybe it's one of the things that's harder to do when you're over 50...or in my case, 60!

I hope to hear from you again and to figure out the ins and outs of this Web site so I can make Red Hat Moms an active site.

I like it here and I grew up here but traveled and moved for my job as a fashion photographer. I am settled here until my husband has to move for his job, he's a project manager on Hi-Rise buildings, latest in Downtown Miami overlooking the bay, very cool!
